Forget 2020 Vision, BASIC Is Focused On the Future!
In July, we first announced our plan to move to a 100% remote workforce and our goal to unify the BASIC brand. The health, safety, and well-being of our employees, partners, clients, and communities has always been our top priority, as well as the driving factor for this transition. Today, we’re pleased to report that we have officially closed all of BASIC’s physical offices nationwide and have successfully transitioned to a remote workforce. With that massive endeavor behind us, you may be asking, “What’s next for BASIC?”
As we finish up 2020 and look forward to kicking off 2021, BASIC will focus on three initiatives:
- Get back to the customer service levels our brokers, clients, and participants expect. First and foremost, our main priority is to effectively provide our clients and their employees with the very best service possible. Our unique high-touch dedicated customer service model sets us apart in the marketplace, and we don’t take that for granted. We realize that you may have experienced some bumps over the past few months during our remote work transition and system upgrade, due to unsuspected technology hurdles we encountered. We sincerely apologize for this and we want you to know that we are 100% committed to getting back on track!
- Continue to align and unify the BASIC brand. Over the past six months, BASIC has closed our remote offices and shifted to a new and improved benefits system, Consumer Driven Accounts (CDA). This allowed BASIC to consolidate and align our benefit account offerings into one easy-to-use platform. Our goal in 2021 is to focus on unifying BASIC’s COBRA, Retiree, and Premium Billing solutions into one state-of-the-art offering. This plan aims to simplify not only how BASIC is perceived in the marketplace, but to also set uniform contact methods that streamline our broker, client, and participant experience.
- Update our offerings to provide best-in-class solutions and technology for our clients. For over 30 years, BASIC’s main goal has been to deliver administrative and technology-based solutions that assist Human Resource departments throughout the US. To keep up with the changing needs of employers and their employees, we must adapt. That means analyzing and tweaking our current solutions to ensure we’re providing our clients with modernized HR Benefit, Compliance, Leave Management, and Payroll solutions.
2020 has been a tough year for everyone. We’re thankful that our BASIC community has pulled together and pivoted to our new normal. We hope you’re as excited about BASIC’s 2021 initiatives as we are, and we look forward to another year of providing HR solutions to our broker partners, clients, and participants nationwide. The future is bright at BASIC!
