As more and more employers consider mandatory vaccination policies, states are taking action and courts have begun to issue decisions on whether such policies are legal. During this session, experts from Lane Powell will discuss the current legal landscape and considerations, and other important factors, related to mandatory and voluntary vaccination programs for employees. Such considerations include required reasonable accommodations, workplace safety, workers’ compensation, wage and hour laws, limitations on incentives, union issues, access issues, employee relations, and risk management.
For the first 60 minutes, Christine and Mike will present on the above topic. The remaining time will be devoted to Q&A and insight into BASIC’s Vaccine Reward Account Administration. BASIC’s webinar is approved for 1.0 HRCI and 1 SHRM-CP credits for advanced professional credentials for HR professionals worldwide. Credits are only available for live attendance.
